Edit: Tried their buffet and was very disappointed. Updated rating to 4 and food to 3 stars solely based on buffet experience. Also not worth the £18 pp price tag considering limited options. Almost all items expect chat were stale and dry. Feel free to skip the buffet here but regular banquet dining is still good.

Easily the best Indian restaurant in town. Service by the manager is hands down the best. For other off-license and so-called entitled folks running businesses in Reading - learn what is customer service from this guy!

Food presentation and taste is fab. Every item we have ordered came out to be perfect. Milk cake looks like a house special and is a must try. I had the actual authentic Hyderabadi Mirchi ka Salan at this place and the taste is on another level. Rarely we see these kind of places with everything turning out to be perfect.

I would recommend this place for any group size but make sure to reserve a table before you go and there is paid street parking in the Shuguard lane next to the store. Or if you dine in before 10pm you use the TGI Fridays/ALDI parking just across the road.

Had 1st birthday party of my Son at Masakali Reading and it was such a good time! The vibe was lively and welcoming, perfect for celebrating with friends and family. The staff (Vishnu, Kunal and every one else) were super friendly and made sure everything went smoothly — even added a few birthday touches which was a nice surprise.
The food? Absolutely delicious. We tried a bunch of dishes and everything was full of flavor. Portions were generous and the service was quick, even with a big group.

Today i have attended birthday party of our neighbours. The place and Atmosphere was very welcoming. It has huge space for party of 40 people. Let's come to food, you have all the delicious you can think of for both Veg and Non vegetarian. Very good starter, fruit juice, Pani puri or Gol gappa, chat, panner, samosa, chicken, lamb, fish, biryani. The staff there are so caring, helpful and extremely hardworking. They were asking customers to try different food, helping with plates, water, clearing it on time. I have not seen so hardworking staff and such an amazing dishes. The good part is, digestion happened smoothly, hence I can say the food was prepared fresh. I have been to other many restaurants in Reading but this is by far the best. We found this restaurant by accident and what a find! It was quiet when we arrived just after 7pm on Friday but filled up over the evening. The service was outstanding, so attentive. The waiters went above and beyond to help us choose the food and it was really good. They had a special Indian cocktail menu and brought us tiny tasters which was a really nice surprise.
